Sometimes, all we need is a predictable yet heartwarming romance, and the movie Styled With Love offers just that in a perfect way. With no drama & no complex relationships, this movie has the most normal-paced relationship development that comes out as a refreshing experience after seeing the abundance of intense movies and TV shows.
Released in the United States on August 28th, 2022, Styled With Love is directed by Michelle Ouellet and written by Cera Rose Pickering. It stars Rachel Bles and Dennis Andres in the main roles. The storyline revolves around Rosie Pink and Jaxon Brooks, an unlikely couple that happens to meet by chance but soon forms a deep and irresistible connection that even overpowers their need to be the best in their respective careers.
Now residing in the Big City, Rosie Pink works as a stylist, personal coach, and therapist for each of her clients. Not only are her styling skills exceptionally good, but she is also able to easily guide the clients in their own lives. Having started her boutique comes as a big achievement for Rosie, and she is looking for a photographer that could help in taking good pictures of the shop and meetings with her clients. This is where Jaxon Brooks comes in, and the duo soon realizes that they could be more than just business partners.
Styled With Love: What Happens In The Film?
After working on her boutique named “Styled in Pink,” Rosie hopes that she could become a popular local stylist in Chicago. Her fashion sense’s great, so things do work out, and soon enough, she has a ton of clients on her list that need her guidance. Asides from fashion, we see Rosie also helping with other personal life issues that are going on in the clients’ lives. Wanting to turn her business into a brand, Rosie starts looking for a photographer that could help in promoting her shop.
One of her friends informs her about a skilled professional photographer named Jaxon Brooks, and despite being reluctant at first, Rosie hires him to work for her. When Jaxon is introduced to the work he has to do, he doesn’t like it and denies her request to work for her.
Jaxon later receives a call from his boss, asking him to build a stunning portfolio if he wants to secure a sought-after photography job. He decides to use Rosie’s pictures in his portfolio and works for her for free. Rosie and Jaxon become closer each day, and even when both of them receive good positions that would make their dreams come true, they realize what they truly want is each other and leave their old jobs to focus on their feelings.

Chicago, Illinois
Chicago has the perfect aesthetic that a movie like Styled With Love would mix well in. From the cute and cozy Cafés to perfectly picturesque nature spots, Chicago has all of that to offer in this film. Using Chicago as a filming location is nothing new, as popular movies and TV shows like Shameless, Goodfellas, The Dark Knight, and The Vampire Diaries were all filmed right here.
Being the most populous city in Illinois, Chicago certainly offers a good spot to film a city-themed movie like Styled With Love. Throughout the movie, we see random short clips of various places around Chicago, such as the metro, the city’s skyline, and shops around the location. The scene where Rosie takes her clients to build her portfolio is possibly filmed in Chicago’s Lincoln Park.
Toronto, Ontario
Another place we see featured in Styled With Love is Toronto, more specifically, the area near East Thirty-Six on Wellington Street. This is where we see Jaxon meeting his grandfather, who is introduced to us for the first time in this scene. The grandfather and Jaxon then leave the place to meet up with Rosie at her boutique.
