It was she that had plowed the seeds for them to mount their service against Baskervilles. Not many people know of this, not many except Vik who had learned about her during his investigation.
He had her underground and have her answer some of the questions that have been going on in his head. Vik didn’t beat around the bush though and got straight to the point on how he could avoid attention from Baskerville. To which she was taken back a little but gave an honest response in the end which pleased Vik.
Our protagonist told her that he had come to the same conclusion as her and that she is not far off from what he wanted to do. However, given his sadistic nature he couldn’t help but tease her more, to see how much she is willing to believe what he was about to say. And once he brought up the other subject, his captive was furious and yet grateful to him.
