Jeffrey Archer is an English novelist who writes mainly thriller books. Kane And Abel, his best-selling work, has sold an estimated 34 million copies worldwide. But, before he became a successful writer, it’s believed that he wrote his first book to avoid bankruptcy. Born in 1940, Jeffrey tried his hands at various occupations. A Prison Diary Memoir
Jeffrey Archer, on 19th July 2001, was sentenced to four years in prison for perjury. During his time as a prisoner, he wrote these memoirs. These books are said to present a harsh critique of the British prison system as well as an insight into these prisoners’ lives.
