After seven years of marriage, Scooter Braun and his wife, Yael Cohen, have finally decided to get divorced. Rumors of a breakup between the businessman and the music manager are certainly true, but they are actively looking for a solution and have no intentions to tie the knot any time soon.
The couple has three children, two sons Jagger, aged 6; Levi, aged 4; and a daughter Hart, aged 2. According to media sources, they reportedly want to work things out for the benefit of their children.
Braun and his wife are the best of friends, according to a source close to them, but they need some time and space to sort things out. However, this did not stop online suspicions about the cause of Braun and Cohen’s time apart from circulating online.
Many internet users have made various assumptions about what might have led the pair to split up. These vary from allegations of infidelity to a feud involving Taylor Swift that may have put excessive stress on the marriage.

Did Scooter Braun have an extramarital affair with Erika Jayne?
Insiders and people close to Braun claim that a third party may have been responsible for causing problems in the couple’s marriage which eventually led to their separation. Braun, who represents celebrities like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, was accused of having an affair with Erika Jayne, a “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star.
In honor of the rumor, gram DeuxMoi, a “friend of” Dana Wilkey, released Instagram DMs from an unnamed source in November of 2020, stating that Scooter and Erika were hooking up after first meeting at a sex club located in Los Angeles.

However, Jayne addressed the rumors during a July 1 Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode, assuring her co-stars that she hadn’t seen Braun in “four and a half, five years” and calling the accusation nothing but “silly.” Regarding rumors of an affair between her and Scooter, Erika has repeatedly dismissed them whenever the matter was brought up.
Both of them allegedly met at a political gathering she went to with Tom Girardi, her former husband. Scooter has not yet responded to the accusations of cheating made against him, so it is difficult to say anything conclusively.
Has Braun’s marriage been affected by his conflict with Taylor Swift?
According to a few inside sources, Cohen had become weary of Braun’s treatment of Taylor Swift during their overly public dispute over Swift’s music publishers. Swift publicly criticized Braun in 2019 for acquiring the rights to her music catalog, calling him a bully and saying she was denied the ability to independently purchase her own music.
Cohen was one of Braun’s most ardent supporters at the time, penning long messages to the musician on social media, defending her husband. Cohen argued that Swift did have the option to buy the masters but voluntarily declined to do so.
She responded to Swift’s accusations that her husband had spent his entire life standing up for the people and the causes that he truly believes in, and that makes him anything but a bully. She further asserted that Swift had no right to complain about bullying because she had abandoned her closest friends like “wilted flowers.” However, insiders claim that Cohen was quite dissatisfied with how the feud played out behind the scenes, and she thought the whole matter could have been handled better.
Although there hasn’t been much evidence against Braun except for the Instagram DMs, which were made public by Dana Wilkey’s friend when it comes to the cheating allegations, it is more than safe to say that the couple’s marriage is in hot waters with the couple allegedly filing for divorce from each other.
