About Shaman King
Shaman King, also known as Shaman Kingu, is a Japanese anime and manga series that was initially released as a manga. It was created by Hiroyuki Takei and was published by Shueisha. The manga got serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine and was released on 30th June 1998. Till 30th August 2004, the manga gave out 35 tankobon volumes. Later, on 4th July 2001, the anime adaptation of the manga debuted that was created by Xebec Studio It aired till 25th September 2002 and released a number of 64 episodes. A whole decade later, the creators decided to bring up a reboot of the anime. It got created by Bridge Studio and was released on 1st April 2021. It continued till 21st April 2022 and aired a total of 52 episodes.
Plot
The plot of the Shaman King is what captivated the audience for such a long period of time. It revolves around the concept of Shamans, which is a medium between the world of living and dead. The protagonist of the series is Yoh Asakura, who is a shaman. He aspires to become the shaman king – the being who has contact with great spirits and can reshape the world according to themselves. However, in order to choose the Shaman King, there is a competition that holds every 500 years. In that tournament, many shamans compete in order to win and become the next Shaman King. So, in order to win the match Anna Kyoyama, Yoh’s fiance, prepares a brutal training regimen for him. They began practicing, and throughout the whole process, they met people and became friends with them.
Shaman King Anime Sequel Announced
The anime series Shaman King has proved to be a whole lot of rides and took us into many fascinating things. This is all thanks to the creator Hiroyuki Takei. However, since the anime is coming back, it is going to be about. To make things more clear, as per the announcements, the Shaman King sequel is actually going to be based on the spin-off manga “Shaman King Flowers”. This sequel, a spin-off manga, was released on 10th April 2012 and has already ended on 10th October 2014. The new Shaman King will be adapting the whole six volumes of the manga.
