The iconic cooking competition series called Masterchef is back with a brand new season thirteenth. The previous episode of the show had Jennifer Maune as the immune, and she was also given the choice to divide the four groups into two teams. She put together the Midwest team with the South one, making them the red team, also the team that she joined. Naturally, team blue was formed by West and Northeast.
The task was to cook food for emergency personnel, including one hundred one firefighters, in a time span of seventy-five minutes, though they had to present a sample to the three judges in just twenty-five minutes. Team Red ended up coming out as the winner. Contestant Ryan Walker from team Blue faced elimination.
Masterchef Season 13 Episode 8: The Plot
This next episode of the cooking show will bring the cooks another Mystery Box challenge, and once again, both the contestants and the audience have absolutely no idea what to expect from it.
A twist to the mystery box challenge will be introduced wherein just one of the four teams would have to start ten minutes later than the rest, a great benefit for the other teams but a really nasty struggle for that one team.
This episode is titled ‘Birds of a Feather Mystery Box,’ and with each team having a box to their name, not knowing anything about its content, they will have to scrape something up in a way that impresses the judges.
The episode is another race against time, and the team that fails to incorporate the mystery flavors from their home place into a combination of something fantastic will lose. The one that performs the worst will have to say goodbye to the show.
