The struggles faced by Pakistani immigrants were showcased perfectly through the British comedy-drama series titled Man Like Mobeen. Belonging to a religion, everyone stereotypes to be a terrorist is difficult in today’s time, as showcased in Man Like Mobeen, where a Pakistani immigrant raising his younger sister tries to navigate life through the hardships that come along with belonging to the Muslim community.
Directed by Ollie Parsons and Akaash Meeda, the series grabbed the attention of the viewers with the very first episode. The series became famous as viewers felt it was exceptionally funny while touching serious topics like racism and underlying troubles related to deep-rooted stereotypes in society. The series beautifully portrays the love-hate relationship between siblings as the younger one refuses to see the older one as a figure of authority.
Created by Guz Khan and Andy Milligan, the series stars Guz Khan playing the role of Mobeen, a former drug dealer responsible for raising his younger sister, Tolu Ogunmefun playing the role of Nate, an advocate and best friend of Mobeen, Tez Illyas playing the role of Arslan, a close friend of Mobeen and Nate, Duaa Karim playing the role of Aqsa, younger sister of Mobeen, Perry Fitzpatrick playing the role of Officer Harper, fair yet strict police officer, and Art Malik playing the role of Uncle Khan, leader of a gang.
The recurring cast of Man Like Mobeen consists of Mark Silcox playing the role of Uncle Shady, a shady and outspoken figure; Kiell Smith playing the role of Jovell Maynard, a drug dealer, Aimee-Ffion playing the role of Miss Aitken; and Youssef Kerkour playing the role of Megalodon, a gang leader from prison. Brought by BBC Three on 17 December 2017, the series is available for viewers to enjoy on the streaming giant Netflix. The series had four seasons with 17 episodes, and each of the episodes has a run time of 20-25 minutes.

Man Like Mobeen Ending Explained:
The series starts with Mobeen and his pals Arslan and Nate having a discussion on Eight paying 150 pounds to a stranger who offered him a laptop wrapped in a plastic bag. The three friends are in a conflict as the revelation of Eight being conned is made. The laptop turns out to be a dead cat wrapped inside the plastic bag prompting Nate to question Eight about his carelessness in making a deal without checking the item. The friends decide to dispose of the body of the dead cat, and Mobeen takes the matter into his hands.
On their way to dispose of the body of a cat, Eight gets arrested by armed police on the charges of drug dealing based on the description of a brown male wearing jogging bottoms. The real culprit turns out to be Sahid, a drug dealer in Small Heath who uses Kareema to move his gear. Desperate to save Sahid, Kareema asks Aqsa’s help to hide his drugs from the police, to which Aqsa agrees.
Mobeen figures out the truth behind the drugs and decides to confront Sahid about the same. Aqsa, Mobeen’s sister, gets suspended from her school on the grounds of her fighting with her bullies. Mobeen agrees to discuss the arranged marriage between Khadijah and him to provide a female role model for his little sister. Things go haywire when Uncle Shady ends up in a fight with Khadijah’s father. Mobeen, alongside Nate, pays a visit to Arslan’s terminally ill grandfather, who confesses to being in a bigamous marriage to Jamila.
Jamila works as an assistant in one of the shops owned by Eight’s grandfather. Eight’s grandfather requests Mobeen to take him for a visit to Jamila for the last time. Mobeen is arrested at the end of the first season after he takes the blame for throwing a flask at Robbie Worthington, a racist leader. The second season begins with Mobeen being worried about the threat of a stabbing that is supposed to happen at Aqsas’s prom.
Mobeen decides to attend Aqsa’s prom in a borrowed car by a local gangster. The second season ends with Mobeen, Nate, and Aqsa queueing outside of a mini-golf center where the family is supposed to celebrate Aqsa’s 16th birthday. Aqsa and Mobeen’s pals are attacked by Azaar while Mobeen is on a date. The fourth season begins with Mobeen and Nate a few weeks away from finishing their sentences.
Did Mobeen And Nate Escape From Prison?
Mobeen gets in trouble with Megalodon, an inmate, after he becomes a designated listener with a few weeks left to finish his sentence alongside Nate. Aqsa makes a return and is seen complaining about the medical school.
The prison infirmary tries to befriend Memory Stick, who has information on Khan. Nida, an infirmary doctor, becomes attracted to Mobeen. Thus, she helps Mobeen’s sister to get placement for her medical degree. Mobeen becomes jealous of the development of friendship between Harper and Nate.
Mobeen gets caught by Harper and Nate on his way to meet Nida, who force him to gain information on Colin. Collin agrees to work with Mobeen after Jamal, an inmate who needs help dealing with losing his children, is helped by Harper and Mobeen. Megalodon starts a prison riot after knocking Megalodon out.
The 4th and final season ends with Mobeen and Sajid successfully escaping the prison to Chaplain during the prison riot. Nida is revealed to be Khan’s daughter after Megalodon arrives with her to Chaplain. The series ends with Mobeen gaining consciousness as he is surrounded by his loved ones.
