Among the many choices within the Allied Races that are available to the players, the Void Elves stand as an attractive choice due to their high offensive and defensive capabilities.
The Void Elves are the descendants of Blood Elves who emerged during the events of World of Warcraft: Legion, led by the revered ranger Alleria Windrunner. What truly distinguishes the Void Elves is their affinity for shadow and arcane magic, bestowing upon them an array of magical abilities. Through their racial spells, they possess the power to tear through space with Spatial Rift, enabling swift tactical repositioning.
The inherent resilience of the Void Elves manifests in Chill of Night, minimizes the damage inflicted by Shadow attacks. Furthermore, their connection to the Void strengthens them with Entropic Embrace, imbuing their damage and healing abilities with an added Shadowfrost buff. Economic prowess accompanies their talents, as their Ethereal Connection grants them reduced costs for Void Storage and Transmogrification.

Spatial Rift: Tears a rift in space, thus allowing you to teleport through it when activated. This provides strategic mobility, letting you reposition yourself in an unfavorable situation.
Chill of Night: Reduces the hit points received from Shadow-based attacks by 1%. This functions as a minor defensive capability.
Entropic Embrace: Your abilities have a chance to boost you with the essence of the Void, causing your damage and healing effects to increase by an additional 5%. This state is called Shadowfrost and only lasts for 12 seconds. Though for a very short time, this racial trait amplifies your offensive and supporting capabilities, enhancing both damage and healing output.
Ethereal Connection: Reduces the usage cost of Void Storage and Transmogrification by 50%. This racial ability offers a functional advantage, allowing you to save gold when using Void Storage or when altering gears through Transmogrification.
Preternatural Calm: Removes cast delays while taking hits. This racial trait grants you the ability to cast spells uninterrupted, enabling you to maintain a magical onslaught even when under attack. It is just broken in PvP and highly convenient in PvE for solo plays.
These racial spells and abilities make Void Elves an all-around option that fits with any play style. Void Elves and their racial traits are ultimate for any caster. No pushback, 5% additional dmg and healing buff, teleportation. And mainly a 50% cost reduction to Transmog like, who wouldn’t want that?!

The available classes for Void Elves are as follows:
Death Knight: With the introduction of the recent expansion, a new class, Death Knight, was added to the many classes Void Elf mains can choose from. This class is highly recommended for solo close-quarter melee combatants.
Hunter: Skilled marksmen and trappers, Void Elf Hunters use their link with the Void to aid them in taming and commanding void-touched beasts, making them great ranged damage dealers.
Mage: Void Elf Mages harness the arcane arts to release devastating spells upon their enemies. Their affinity for manipulating magic makes them formidable spellcasters, specializing in burst damage output and crowd control.
Monk: Void Elf Monks dominate their opponents with ancient martial arts techniques, combining physical prowess with spiritual enlightenment. They are great for close-quarters combat and possess unique abilities that enhance survivability and mobility—a balanced class with defensive and offensive capabilities.
Priest: Deeply linked to the powers of the Void, Void Elf Priests draw upon both light and shadow abilities to heal allies and inflict damage upon their foes. They are versatile support in a team and possess potent offensive capabilities.
Rogue: Stealthy assassins, Void Elf Rogues strike from the shadows with deadly precision. They excel at ambush tactics, evading detection, and dealing devastating burst damage to enemies.
Warlock: By getting themselves into the forbidden arts of demonic magic, Void Elf Warlocks wield destructive spells and can summon demonic minions who provide offensive and defensive utility in battle. They excel at prolonging a battle with a wide range of debuffs and damage over time effects. We do not recommend to use them to 1v1 as they are more suited for AOE.
Warrior: Void Elf Warriors are indeed an offensive class, often leading the charge into battle, tearing across the battlefield, and using fierce shouts to rally their allies and intimidate their enemies. They are masterful of melee combatants and are highly proficient in utilizing a variety of weapons. Every time they deal or take damage, their class-specific ability, “rage,” grows, allowing them to deliver crushing attacks.
Lore: The leader of the Void Elves is Alleria Windrunner. Alleria is a highly respected figure in the WoW universe and has managed to tap into the corruptive magic of the Void without succumbing to madness. Her unique achievement sets her apart as the first mortal to defy shadow’s whispers successfully.
Driven by a desire to wield this power for the betterment of Azeroth, Alleria has taken it upon herself to train and guide a group of fellow High Elves who are on the verge of succumbing to the darkness. These individuals, now known as Void Elves, have embraced the darkness of the void under Alleria’s tutelage.
Alleria’s goal is to ensure that the Void Elves learn to control their newfound powers, channeling the energy of the Void without losing themselves to its insidious influence. By honing their powers, the Void Elves can contribute their unique strengths and talents to the Alliance, aligning themselves with the cause for the greater good.
Alleria Windrunner’s leadership and expertise have been instrumental in shaping the Void Elves, helping them to become a force to be reckoned with. Through her guidance, the Void Elves have learned to harness the powers of the Void while maintaining their sanity and allegiance to the Alliance.
As Void Elves, players can choose from a diverse range of classes, including the recent addition of Death Knight. Whether you are a spell caster, stealthy rogue assassin, or a wielder of the Void’s powers, Void Elves offers a versatile and engrossing gameplay experience.
Unlocking the void elves in Dragonflight requires finishing the Argus storyline. To reach Argus, you will need to have a character that is level 45 or higher. Since you would most likely need an Alliance to complete the recruitment scenario, it would be best to do the storyline as Alliance if you are a beginner with a few or no leveled-up characters.
