Step Up: High Water Season 3 Episode 5: Release Date, Spoilers & Streaming Guide

Step Up: High Water Season 3 Episode Episode 5 release date is quite soon. The series focuses on the students and their daily drama while studying at the High Water Performing Arts School. This week’s episodes brought us a joyride and downhill of emotions both, and it was just so weird seeing it all, given the fact that almost every character went through a huge change at one point.

Sage is now in prison after his stunt at BMT. It is understandable and visible that his intentions were pure in this whole scenario. It is mainly because of the accusations that were put up against him that he had to go to jail in the first place. We get that he thinks he is above everyone and has an attitude about it, but that is not enough reason to arrest someone right.

On the other hand, this situation is what he needed to set him right. As we said, he is not a bad person, but he needs lessons to get rid of his bad qualities. It is a huge lesson for him, and there will be some changes in his personality once he gets through it all. In the darkness of the cell, Sage realizes that his whole personality is because of his fans, and without them, he is just an incomplete person.

He even denied a helping hand from his fellow inmate. He has always felt like a god, and settling down with normal people was beyond him. Hut in the jail, everybody is treated equally, so there was no point in feeling superior down here.

Step Up: High Water Season 3 Episode 4 Recap

Tal and Marquise have an older chemistry, and it was shown to us here. Marquise is in High Water, obviously, but Tal did not know about this. He always thought of getting into the school, making it his personal safe space. But when he saw Marquise roaming on the streets freely, that was when it hit him. All the abuse that he suffered from him came back to his mind.

Back in the day, Marquise bullied Tal badly, and at one point, he even beat him up, and Tal almost ended up dead. Tal was never able to reveal all of these emotions to Uncle Al, and it was why he could not understand them at all. Previously in the season, we have seen how Marquise was just trying to have his growth process from behind the shadows, but the 4th episode kind of changed it all.

This was the entry where he did not get credit for his work, and this made him come out and fight for his rights. It was how Rigo questioned their bond and if anything that they feel is real or not.

Marquise has always seen Rigo as his family, just like their father once taught them. Rigo has developed some similar elements to how Sage, and it feels like these two guys are brothers. Rigo is now pulling up the legal stuff in order to take advantage of Marquise, and the latter obviously feels used during it all.

Rigo thinks that Marquise is able to write rap and lyrics, yes, but he does not have enough talent to make it big into the world. Well, Rigo is right about certain things, but it’s the attitude that is problematic.
