After all the wait, Westworld Season 4 is finally here. Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Tessa Thompson, Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Luke Hemsworth, Angela Sarafyan, and Ed Harris as William all return to the new season. With episode 3 coming out on July 10, 2022, Westworld Season 4 Episode 2 has been one crazy ride. Following the past events, a lot of things have changed. And Hale’s plan seems to work. With Chalores losing human Charlotte’s son and husband in a car explosion, she now has nothing the lose.
She holds the scars from the accident and wants to show the humans their real position. Along with Chalores being on a “let me remind you where you belong” spree, there are a lot of host versions. According to Ken Whitney’s host version, there are 249 others like him. As we saw Hale making a host version of William in the end credits of the previous season, she’ll be using her power a lot more this season. California Senator Ken Whitney and his wife, Anastasia are dead as Team Hale goes on to replace them with their host versions.
Conversely, we also see Maeve and Caleb doing their best to stay eye to eye with Charlores’ involvement.
Westworld Season 4 Episode 2 Explained: “Well Enough Alone”
While Team Hale is on the mission to replace all the high-profile personalities with their host versions, the vice president is trying to stay on his toes. We see her talking to the host version of William as the two are at the golf course. William, whom we saw getting his throat slit by his own host version, is not dead. We see Chalores waking human William, telling him that he’ll be staying with her for now. Chalores are very angry as the humans made a hunting game out of their race. So she had to take control back and threaten humans to never mess with them once again.
We also got to know about the “tower”. From Christina’s point of view, we see a man ranting about a tower. We also heard Peter saying that the tower was real just before his death. Meeting that man again, he said that a song with no sound was playing on the tower. Paying him no mind, Christina went on with her day. Until she saw the swarm of dead birds. Not understanding a thing, Christina went on to visit the Hope Center but found it closed. Going inside, she saw drawings of a tower on a wall of the abandoned clinic.
What Happened To Anastasia In Westworld Season 4 Episode 2?
Anastasia didn’t die like her husband. She had something worse waiting for her. According to Chalores, Anastasia seemed to be the “perfect candidate” for a new experiment she was working on. And then boom. Moving forward, we saw Anastasia in a barn. As Caleb and Maeve catch her slitting open horses in the barn. Spotting two humans, Anastasia attacked Caleb, but Maeve was quick enough to shoot her.
