What Happened in Next in Fashion Season 1?
The second season of The Next in Fashion was indeed a successful one. We saw 18 well-rooted fashion designers who came together in the competition to own fame and establish their name in the field of fashion.
The host for the season was Tan France and Alexa Chung. The contestants on the show were Angel & Minju, Isaac & Nasheli, Narresh & Lorena, Carli & Daniel, Charles & Angelo, Farai & Kiki, Marco & Ashton, Julian & Hayley, and Claire and Adolfo.
There were ten episodes in the season, and the duration of each was approx. 50 minutes. The show’s plot was quite simple, and each week a pair was eliminated. In the ten episodes, we saw different challenges and competitions between the nine pairs.
The task in the show included working on fabrics and uniquely designing them, doing runways, Designing red carpet looks, working with prints and patterns to formulate unique looks, designing wedding outfits with an interesting fashion element, designing streetwear clothes, activewear, military-inspired dress, teen-look outfit, experiments with denim, etc.
The winner for the first season was Minju. In the last episode, Minju designed a fresh and vibrant look that was loved by the judges. Daniel was the other finalist on the show who made a classy and sophisticated outfit. It was also appreciated by the judges but Minju won everyone’s heart. She got $250000 as the winning sum and was qualified to display their collection on Net-a-Porter.
