Anime starting with Re are just too good. Re: Zero and ReLIFE are prime examples of this. ReLIFE is an intriguing anime and the fans have longed for the second season of the show. It has been 6 years since the show debuted. It was widely successful among fans all over the world. Even though being a massive success, something convinces us that it was not enough for the creators to green light a second season for the show.
Instead, a 4 episode special was made to hastily end the show. Many important things from the manga have been omitted. This has left the fans furious. With not much hope for the second season, I will tell you about some anime similar to ReLIFE.
ReLIFE is a romantic drama and slice-of-life anime and manga. The manga began in 2013 and ran till 2018. The anime began in 2016 and was on air for 2 months. An OVA of 4 episodes was made in 2018 to wrap up the story. But those who have read the manga know that much of the story is not yet covered. ReLIFE follows the story of Arata Kaizaki, who becomes 10 years younger through a science experiment and goes back to high school to fix his life.

Barakomon
Just like ReLIFE, Barakomon is an anime about self-reflection and much more. You are sure to love it. This story is about Seishu Handa who is a professional calligrapher. One day he shows his work to a curator of an exhibition. The elder criticizes Seishu’s calligraphy, to which Seichu becomes angry and punches the man. Seishu is sent to Goto Island by his father as a punishment. He meets the locals there and begins his journey of repentance and rebirth.
The title of the show is very poetic to the show itself. The title means someone who is energetic/cheerful. The 1st episode is named Barakakodon, this resembles Naru Kotoishi, a cheerful and hyperactive kid Seishu meets in the first episode. Handa’s journey on this island is a very beautiful one and something you should not miss out on. There is also a prequel show to the original show. It is named Handa-Kun and tells the story of Seishu Handa’s high school days.
