Kidnapped Bride is the story of a beautiful girl named Lucina. She comes from a very wealthy and established family. However, Lucina is not a legitimate child of her father. Due to being an illegitimate child, Lucina has to go through many hardships in her life from a very young age. One day Lucina’s stepmother physically abuses her, and Lucina runs away from her into the jungle to catch some air.
There she finds an enormous wounded dragon. As Lucina possesses the power of healing, she promises the dragon that she will heal him because hurting can be painful. While fixing the wound, Lucina faints the dragon, then turns into a beautiful guy, and he carries her back home. Now that Lucina is all grown up, she is promised to be married to an old King, Brian.
Lucina does not want to get married; however, she has no choice except to comply with the demands of her family. On the night of Lucina’s wedding, her stepbrother steals a lot of treasure from The Majaruk. Their warriors take hold of the entire palace to get back their treasure. Lucina sees this as an opportunity and decides to run away.
However, her stepmother gives her hand in marriage in exchange for sparing their life. The King of Tayar, Hakkan, chooses to marry Lucina after seeing her. She reminds him of the human girl who saved his life back then. When he asks Lucina if she is ready to get married or get killed, she chooses to get married instead. After her marriage, the king takes her with him to the land of Tayar.
Kidnapped Bride Chapter 7 Recap
In the previous chapter, Lucina was kidnapped and later saved by Hakkan. Lucina had a high fever Hakkan gets worried about her health and asks for forgiveness. Hakkan instructs his worriers to get warm water for Lucina and some clean clothes so she can change. Lucina feels comfort and warmth around Hakkan and does not want to leave his side. While Lucina is resting inside her tent, she makes up her mind about Hakkan. She also meets a little child Fuka, an elf of the forest.
Fuka asks Lucina about her healing abilities and tells her he has been following her since she got kidnapped. Fuka warns her not to expose her healing abilities as she might get into dangerous situations. When Lucina does not understand this, he tells her everyone is looking for this ability. If it gets into anyone’s knowledge, they all want to capture her to fulfil their demands. Hakkan spots acne on Lucina’s face. When he tries to call for a pharmacist, his warriors examine her face and tell Hakkan to stay away from him as the acne seems like smallpox.
Kidnapped Bride Chapter 8 Spoilers
In the upcoming chapter, Lucina will try to convince the warriors that she does not have smallpox and that it is just a side effect of hair dying. Lucina is still very conscious and not confident to speak up her mind so it will be interesting to see how she will manage to make them trust her irrespective of their safety. We are also pretty sure Hakkan will do anything to protect her and give her the chance to explain herself.
