Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a 130-minute-long action, adventure, thriller, and fantasy movie based on Characters by DC. The character, Shazam, gets played by Asher Angel and the handsome Zachary Levi. The other actors in the movie are Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Lucy Liu, and more.
The team started filming on 26 May 2021 and ended on 31 August 2021. Finally, the movie got released on 14 March 2023 in the Fox Village Theatre and 17 March 2023 in the USA. The production companies for the movie are The Safran Company, DC Studios, and New Line Cinema, while the distributor is Warner Bros. Pictures.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ budget was $110–125 million, and the box office collection was $ 133.4 million. Thus, it got considered a box-office disaster by multiple publications. The movie has mixed reviews, yet we know that it did not fulfill our expectations as its prequel did.
People are not convinced by the star cast. They consider it to be the worst superhero movie. Moreover, the movie made only $4.4 million in China. The movie dropped to sixth place after the release of John Wick: Chapter 4.

The sequel continues with the teenager, Billy Batson, who turns into a superhero after chanting the word ‘Shazam.’ According to the trailer, Shazam considers himself worthless compared to the manly Aquaman, Batman, and Ironman. He feels like a fraud.
The next moment, Shazam does not seem to bother about it anymore. He and his buddies decide to fight crime using their powers. They know their jobs, and Shazam keeps them connected.
Thaddeus Sivana got imprisoned in the prequel, and the story continues after two years. Shazam and his buddies struggle to live a normal life and chase their dreams due to the responsibilities introduced by their superpowers. Hence, they start getting apart.
Freddy Freeman gets attracted to his schoolmate Anne and reveals his superpower to her. Suddenly, the two daughters of Titan Atlas, Kalypso, and Haspera, arrive at the spot and kidnap Freddy. Anne, who joins the two daughters, turns out to be their youngest sister. They imprison the Wizard and Freddy in God’s Realm as an act of revenge for their father’s death.
Haspera and Billy meet at a nearby restaurant. However, the meeting soon turns into a fight between the Shazam family and the two daughters. They capture Haspera, who breaks out after a few moments and runs away with the Tree Of Life and the Golden Apple.
On the other hand, the Shazamily comes to save Freddy and return the power he lost while getting captured. Later, Kalypso uses the Apple to plant the tree and give rise to several monsters to attack the city, and Shazamily gets Unicorns to fight them.
Billy overloads the staff with electricity and destroys Ladon, Kalypso, her army, and the tree. It costs his life. Haspera succumbs to her wounds after calling Billy the true hero. Diana Prince uses her power to make Billy alive again, and Billy, in turn, uses them to bring back his siblings’ powers.

Only two filming locations of the movie are known as follows:
1. Metro Atlanta, Georgia
The bulk of shooting, excluding the pre-production and post-production, took place in Atlanta, Georgia. Gyula Pados started filming on 26 May 2021. The Atlanta Metro Studios got used by Zachary’s team for a major production. It gets located at 6010 Studio Way and is useful for various types of production.
Atlanta Metro Studios have six stages, a mega stage, and a super stage. The first floor offices can get used as the Full Service Mailrooms, vendor offices, and studio operations. The second-floor offices get reserved for production and executive suites. The mill space and flex are an addition. Moreover, camps got set on the streets to represent Philly’s locale.
2. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
It looks like the aerial shots got shot on and around the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. The prequel also had many shots filmed in Philadelphia. Talking about the sequel, the stadium where the dragon arrives got filmed in the Citizens Way Bank, Philadelphia. Moreover, most scenes shown in the trailer are only special effects.
