Let’s find out Only Murders In The Building Season 3 Filming Locations. Season three of “Only Murders In the Building,” which is now available on Hulu, will once more warm the hearts of both young and old young Yorkers.
First off, the Upper West Side serves as the setting for the comedy murder mystery, and all of the filming took place there. Second, Steve Martin and screenwriters Dan Fogelman and John Hoffman created the program.
Despite being entirely set in the present era, the way the show is conceptualized, including the narrators, has an old-school feel. The three main characters of the show, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez), share an apartment block.
After a murder occurs there in season 1, they become friends and start a podcast together. There are many guest stars among the cast, including Tina Fey, Sting, and Nathan Lane. Amy Schumer, Cara Delvigne, and Shirley Maclaine.
A new guest star, Paul Rudd, appears to pass away mid-performance in Season 2, leaving fans with a cliffhanger. There are more surprising scenes and stars (including Meryl Streep!) in the new season, which debuted on August 8. See where “Only Murders in the Building” was filmed below.

The United Palace Theater
We go back to the crime scene where season 2 left us in the first episode of season 3. The stunning and opulently adorned United Palace in Washington Heights served as the location for the theatre scenes.
One of the five Loew’s Wonder Theatres that were constructed in the 1920s and 1930s. The others are Jersey in Jersey City, Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, Valencia in Jamaica, Queens, and Paradise in the Bronx.
In the play, we are first introduced to the major characters in the luxurious red-carpeted foyer before seeing a wide-angle image of the gilded auditorium and the magnificent part of the theatre that frames the stage.
42nd Street Stages
The action of the first two episodes of the new season primarily takes place in the theatre and the named structure, but we also see the characters assembling for a rehearsal of Oliver’s play, Death Rattle, at a location called 42nd Street Stages.
The New 42nd Street Studios, a building with rehearsal facilities utilized by the casts of popular Broadway musicals like Hamilton and others, is a building with a logo that is eerily similar to the one of this fictitious location.
The Belnord aka The Arconia
The apartment complex where “Only Murders in the Building” takes place is called “The Arconia.” The Belnord, located at 225 West 86th Street alongside Broadway, is the pre-war Upper West Side building where all the action takes place, however, the show does not expressly mention this.
The Astors’ 1909 real estate speculating venture, The Belnord, was created by architect H. Hobart Weekes. In 1966, New York City landmark status was granted to it.
Similar to the Apthorp and Graham Court, two Astors-backed real estate projects on the Upper West Side, it is one of the few structures in New York City large enough to include an inside courtyard where an automobile may enter and make a circle around.
Each of the three has a palazzo-like outside design, imposing front gates, and an outdoor courtyard to let in light into the apartments. The Ansonia, another Upper West Side apartment building finished just a few years before The Belnord, is extremely similar to the imaginary name “The Arconia,” which undoubtedly evokes the apartment names of the time.
Supreme Court of the State of New York
In Lower Manhattan’s Foley Square, next to City Hall and other regional courts, is where you may find the actual New York State Supreme Court. The Supreme Court’s exterior was filmed on Court Square in Long Island City for the television series Only Murders in the Building.
With our trio of heroes being accused of killing Bunny Folger, the former board president of the Arconia, things have taken a turn. They must decide whether to hide out or put their safety in danger by apprehending the murderer themselves, as Hulu teases.
