You Are My Favourite Episode 2: Release Date, Recap, Time & Streaming Guide

Thailand provides the best BL Dramas. It’s known by almost every BL Fan. This summer GMMTv is back with another fresh and sweet BL drama. “You Are My Favorite”, originally known as Be My Favorite, is a new Thai television series that is being directed by Waa Waasuthep Ketpetch.

Since the trailer release, fans are all hyped to watch it. The drama was originally broadcasted by GMMTv and aired its first episode on 25th May 2023. The drama is said to have a total of 10 episodes with a duration of 40-45 minutes each. The story of the drama is inspired by the novel of the same name, “You are my favorite,” written by popular Jitti Rain. 

As for the cast, thai bl drama never disappoints in serving the best cast. The main role of Botkawe and Piaeng is played by Krist Perawat Sangpotirat and Fluke Gawin Caskey. Meanwhile, Aye Sarunchana Apisamaimongkol in the role of Botkawe’s first love Phrae Mai, Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran in the role of Botkawi’s friend Max, and Title Kirati in the role of  Pisaeng’s friend.

This enemy-to-lovers drama provides watchers with cliche romantic moments, sweet bickering, and fantasy. The show follows the memories of a boy who happens to time travel and try to change his future, but something different happens instead. The show doesn’t only follow two boys falling in love but will provide a breakdown between them due to a misunderstanding by other characters.

You Are My Favourite Episode 1: Recap

The drama starts its first episode with an introduction of one of the main characters. Botkawe is an antisocial normal university student. He neither has many friends nor good grades and money. However, he has had feelings for Phrae Mai since the day he joined the university.

There’s a secret buddy thing that goes on in college in which you draw the name of someone. He/She becomes your buddy, and you take care of him/her for a week secretly without letting them know about you. Botkawe wishes to draw Phrae Mai, and luckily he draws her name, but luck doesn’t follow long. 

On the day of buddy reveal day, Botkawe buys a crystal ball as a gift, but on his way to campus, it brokes accidentally. He hesitantly couldn’t enter the room while everyone called Phrae Mai’s buddy, and in the end, Pisaeng says that he was Phrae Mai’s buddy. 

Broken and confused, Botkawe couldn’t bring himself together to reveal the truth. And from here, the story moves 12 years. Now, at present, Botkawe works as a freelancer subtitles writer. He sighs as his life is no fun as before. He neither has a love life nor a stable job nor friends. It was also revealed that Phrae Mai is getting married to Pisaeng. 

Botkawe’s now job is to find a gift for Phrae Mai’s wedding gift. But he couldn’t decide any because of the high price. After a while, he remembers the crystal ball and decides to gift it after getting it fixed. His luck doesn’t follow here too; everybody rejects to repair it as it’s a very old model. 

A strange old man approaches him in the park, saying he can fix it and deliver it to his home when it is fixed. Botkawe hesitantly gives it to him with no hope of getting it fixed back. But to his utter surprise, when he returns home, he found a parcel. The parcel contained the crystal ball, which is now all fixed like brand new.  

Botkawe regrets to himself if he had been more courageous in the past and given that gift to Phrae Mai; things would have been different right now. While thinking so, he keeps twisting the crystal ball.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself back in the gift shop from where he had bought the crystal ball. Yes, Botkawe travelled back to the past, exactly 12 years back on the day of the secret buddy reveal.

He couldn’t change things even after travelling back in time, but instead, he talks to Pisaeng and asks him to reveal the truth to Phrae Mai. Both were seen to get along the whole course and in the end, it was revealed Pisaeng was Botkawe’s secret buddy. 

Fans are excited about how Botkawe’s boring life will take a turn after encountering Pisaeng.

You Are My Favorite episode 2 will premiere on 2nd June 2023, Friday at 7.00 PM [ICT], and there will be a total of ten episodes, each of which will last no more than 45 minutes.
