World of Wonder has announced the release date of their upcoming drag competition series, and we are here to spill all of the hot tea. Their fourteenth adaptation of RuPaul’s Drag Race is all set for release, so let us tell you all about Drag Race Brasil Episode 1.
If you follow Drag closely, then you would already know that during the second of 2022, the company World Of Wonder went on their social media to announce the auditions for their new drag show. The casting calls were met with heavy responses, which eventually must have led to the making of Drag Race Brasil.
The creators have properly milked the hype around the show, putting out information related to it as painfully slow as possible. While the making of the show was confirmed last year, the logo of the same was revealed in June 2023. Fans can easily spot the Brazil flag theme hidden in the logo as well.
There was also a wholesome event called the warm-up event that took place in Sao Paulo’s pride parade during the pride month this year. Clearly, there was no way fans could have waited any more for more news related to the show.
Just recently, the creators finally took to their social media to officially announce to fans when the first episode of the show would hit their screens and who is going to be on the panel of judges of this season. Drag Race Brasil Episode 1: The Plot
What is confirmed by the producers themselves is that the show will have the winner of Queen of the Universe Season One, Grag Queen, as its host for the entire first season of the show. We know that the fashion queen and legend Dudu Bertholini and the ever-hilarious comedienne Bruna Braga have been cast as the panel of judges for the show.
The producers recently, on 2nd August 2023, announced the names of the twelve drag contestants that will be on this season, bringing to our screens their overflowing talent though there will only be one out of these twelve participants who will survive till the end, and get crowned with the title of Brazil’s First Drag Superstar.
The names of these twelve fierce personalities are, Aquarela, Betina Polaroid, Dallas De Vil, Diva More, Hellena Malditta, Melusine Sparkle, Miranda Lebrao, Naza, Organzza, Rubi Ocean, Shannon Skarllet, and Tristan Soledade.
Drag Race Brasil Episode 1: Episode Release Date
Sometime around the third week of July, it was told to us that the first episode of the show, Drag Race Brasil, will air on Wednesday, 30th August, 2023. From what we know, there will be a total of twelve episodes that will be aired this season, with each episode having a run time of more or less an hour.

For Brazilian fans of the show, the streaming of the first episode will be easier, considering the entire series, along with Episode 1, is all set to air on MTV and Paramount+ in Brazil.
