The Strays Season 1 Recap
Shannon initially plans a birthday party for the oldest cat at Hamilton East Animal Shelter in season 1. Later, Shannon’s brand-new work computer is ruined by Joy, but Nikki intervenes to rescue the day. When a little child falls in love with Shannon’s cat, she is left with no choice but to make a terrible choice. Kristian’s listening is also used against him by Nikki, and Hugh and Liam are put in danger due to Paul’s participation in a crime.
While Paul reluctantly agrees to tattoo Kristian, Shannon persuades her new neighbor, a writer, to write a story on the shelter. Shannon extends a trivia night invitation to Nikki’s overbearing Aunt Peggy. Kristian worries that Joy is inexperienced enough to handle the online dating industry. Shannon and Lara seem to have no interest in each other. Nikki gains important knowledge through using Paul’s car, and Kristian unintentionally helps Ravi get over his severe nervousness.
Shannon is invited to a party by Max’s father, but she thinks he’s a little too fatherly. Kristian’s efforts are futile because he micromanages Nikki. Shannon works to keep Nikki out of trouble with the assistance of Uncle Russ and Aunt Peggy. Paul’s love of the arts motivates him to pursue it.
Shannon tries to foster a more inclusive office environment as Lara tampers with a radio contest. Max misinterprets Shannon’s advice to him on dating. Paul speaks a little too freely, which leads to a surprise date for Kristian. Shannon suggests this to Hugh and Liam, which makes Hugh and Liam wonder if she is connected to Jeffrey. Joy helps Paul mail his daughter a care package, and Nikki gets along well with her new friend.
