Are you a die-hard fan of stop-motion animated movies with adventure, crime, and comedy? Then you are at the right place because here you will get a list of 38 animated comedy movies. But before I ask, do you remember Fantastic Mr. Fox?
Or perhaps this is one of your childhood memories of watching animation with your siblings. Or if you are in search of something like Fantastic Mr. Fox, full of adventures and humor, then you are in luck. And for those who missed watching this movie, let me briefly introduce you.
“Fantastic Mr. Fox” is the second highest-rated animated movie of the year 2009, released something like 13 years ago on November 13, 2009, by Wes Anderson. As the name of the film indicates, “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” it is a story that revolves around a fox, not a wild fox but a fantastic fox, which is more human-like and also tricky, clever, quick, and anthropomorphic.
Here you can also find talky animals, dangerous rescues, heroic missions, evilness, family drama, and village life. This story is plain, but the animation feature makes it extraordinary. Mr. Fox has a wife named Facility. When Facility reveals that she is pregnant, she wants to spend the rest of her life in peace and requests that Mr. Fox changes his profession from theft to a safer job.
For the sake of keeping his promise to his wife, after two human years or 12 fox years, he started working as a news reporter and settled down with his family and son Ash in a new foxhole in a tree, ignoring the warning from the lawyer. And the area in which they are living is not safe for them. Then Mr. Fox moved in with his family and started living with Felicity’s nephew, Kristofferson Silverfox.
After so many twists and turns, the story ends with a happy tone and the good news of Felicity’s upcoming pregnancy. I’m not going to spoil the story by telling whole funny scenes to those who are new to this.
This movie is actually an adaptation of the 1970 children’s novel “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by British artist Donald Chaffin. Now come to our main point: the 38 best-animated comedy movies include adventures like Fantastic Mr. Fox. There are plenty of movies; some are similar to Fantastic Mr. Fox, and some are better than Fantastic Mr. Fox.

The film revolves around two friends. One is a lonely American girl, Mary Daisy Dinkle, and the other is an overweight American man with a neurodevelopmental disorder, Max. The story is about distance friendships, unconditional relationships, social isolation, depression, and the obscurity of life.
The film starts in 1976, when Mary is eight years old and lives a lonely life with his distant father, Noel, and his alcoholic impulse control disorder mother, Vera.

The story twisted when she got a telephone book and became curious to know about Americans. And she randomly chose Max Jerry Horowitz, a 44-year-old man, to write a letter.
Soon, through writing letters to each other, they became friends forever. The story ends in a sentimental and heartbreaking way when Mary grows up into a woman and travels to New York with her infant child to finally visit his friend, Max.
