Back in Downey’s Dream Cars Episode 4, titled Electric Stringray, we saw that Johnny is trying to convert his 1965 original Chevrolet Corvette Stringray into an electric vehicle. At the start of the episode, we see him meeting with Troy Hurtubise. Soon they get to work on the design and Robert’s requirements for how his car needs to be.
Now that they were ready with the newly made electric engine, Downey took it for a test run. Even though the car is running smoothly and everything is fine, the actor is actually not satisfied with the results. He wants to make the car faster than it is right then.
Later, the team sits down to add even more modifications to the Corvette. They add a more powerful motor and a larger battery. Soon, Downey takes it on a test drive and is convinced that it is one of the fastest electric cars in the world.

Episode 5 – It is titled Riv for Today. In this episode, we will witness that Downey is meeting up with the engineers from Ford. They will sit down to convert his Mustang into a hydrogen-fueled cell vehicle. As it so happens, these cells do not produce any emissions and are more efficient than electric vehicles. Even though he has never tried this technology, he will be impressed and greenlit the conversion.
Episode 6 – It is titled The Dreamliner. In this episode, we will witness Downey trying to customize and restore his 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster. The car is not in good shape and needs a lot of rebuild. Throughout the episode, we will see him working on the engine as well as the interior to update the car.
