Reports confirm that Portland’s star, Damian Lillard, will have to abstain from playing for a while owing to his recent calf injury followed by his already existing health conditions.
Previously, Damian was said to have been suffering from some abdominal injuries. Despite undergoing an operation back in January, Damian’s injuries were far from healing and stood as a road bump between him and his career. Damian’s calf injury only revealed the possibility of his recovery not living up to its plan.
Damian, who had felt a slight discomfort in his calf before the commencement of the game, had no idea that would turn his day into a complete disaster owing to which he would have to call it quits in the middle of the match against Miami Heat.

Lillard was in the lead through the first five games that took place whilst the season was ongoing. Before walking out of the game, he had already scored some 22 points in a matter of 26 minutes. However, his departure from the match meant a Lillard-less team, following which the Blazers lost to Miami Heat.

New Season Meant New Injuries for The Basketball Star
As mentioned earlier, Damian Lillard has a record of suffering from previous injuries that had caused his basketball aspirations to come to a halt for a very temporary while.
