Berserk: The Golden Age Arc Episode 8 will display one of the pivotal points in the story as Guts have grown as a person who will be going his way in life. Though not as important as the moment in the story where Griffith wouldn’t call anyone his equal for not having ambition, the coming events are the aftermath of it. Guts have looked at Griffith with revelation and respect him in every possible way. But he also wants Griffith to acknowledge him as a person who is worthy of being at his side no matter what the situation.
The Band of the Hawks has done what hadn’t been done in a hundred years and earned the nobility in the midland. Everyone was happy to see their effort finally paying off until Guts’ intention to leave the band came to light. He told of this to Casca indirectly while Judeau figured it out himself. The remaining band is standing in the way of stopping him from leaving, and even Griffith will be there to stop him. But we know where it will lead.
