Which pushed Heeseo to test out the theory that had been in his mind for a long while. There is a hidden benefactor that looks out for him and takes care of him at the most intense of moments.
He burned the foster home he lived in to get the benefactor, but that was the beginning of his days worsening.
A Tree Without Roots Chapter 25 Recap
We saw Heeseo on top of the building in A Tree Without Roots Chapter 25, contemplating life and his place in it. Though, given his usual antics, the first impression that came was him wanting to jump from the roof. However, he was deeply in the contemplating phase at this point and was thinking about his mother.
Over 25 chapters later, he can still get over his head the reasons for his mother’s action; his search for answers led him to nowhere.
He wished his mother would be alive so he could argue and scream at her for her indecisive actions. Which, in turn, ended up with him blaming all of his suffering on her to make sense of things.
At the present moment, all he wanted was to be with her, argue with her, and make up with her in the end. But she was no longer here, nobody was, and this drove him insane as he didn’t know what to do. He had come to rely on Taekyung as his emotional support, but he wasn’t there when he needed him.
