American sitcom that premiered first in 2019 called Tacoma FD is back with yet another season, all set to tickle your sides till you fall off of your couch. The show is a collaborative creation of Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme, with them both starring in the show as the main lead as well. With the new season almost out, let us tell you more about Tacoma FD Season 4 Episode 1.
The show is set in Tacoma, Washington, one of the wettest cities in the country that probably leave the city fire department, where the show is mostly based, slightly jobless. The show has cast creator Kevin Heffernan as Chief Terry McConky, Steve Lemme as Captain Edward Caesar Penisi, Marcus Henderson as Granfield Smith, Eugene Cordero as Andy Myawani, and a few others making up for the relatively small cast of the show.
With Chief Terry and Captain Edward leading the fire department and the entire department barely having any big fires to put out, the show follows the crew as they find themselves doing jobs that take away from the ‘cool’ nature of their jobs heavily.
The show has been praised for its hilarious screenplay and perfect delivery by the cast themselves. The on-screen bond is definitely something fans have been waiting for, and with season four returning to our screens, the wait is almost over. The show has received overall great reviews, with many fans even claiming it to be one of the best workplace sitcoms that there is.
Tacoma FD Season 4 Episode 1: The Plot
While the show has always attracted strong ratings, it is only about to get better with its fourth season. Fans of the show must already know that the series takes us to the not-so-glamorous and ridiculously boring yet hilarious lives of the Tacoma fire department.
Being in one of the United States rainiest locations, the city does not have that many cases of fire that need dealing with, causing the team to look elsewhere. They keep themselves busy with odd jobs, silly pranks, and competitions.
The new season of the show will have new bizarre emergencies, a possible upgrade of the fire station, and the addition of a new member to the team. But before all of this goes down, there is one other thing that the fire department has to deal with.
The first episode of this season will open with the crew going back to their burned-down fire station, which is slightly funny since they have been cribbing about not having any real cases of fire to deal with, and when something big finally caught fire, it turned out to be their own building.
While dealing with their burnt station, we will also see the crew work hard to convince Captain Edward to finally return to the station, though he does not seem to want to do that.
