Once again, the author of Vinland Saga, Makoto Yukimura, does fail to surprise us with his storytelling skill. The way he showed us the gist of the situation through Karli’s point of view really touched my heart. Even being so small in age, his way of thinking and understanding the situation far surpasses the kids of his age (well, I used to suck my thumb all the time when I was his age).

Growing on in the adventure to Vinland has affected his mind in a good way. However, Karli was still confused about who was right in all this chaos, so Cordelia cleared out his confusion by telling her experience in believing what Thorfinn does.
