The most loved music show, “The Voice,” is set to air the next episode in line with the all-new 11th season. With talented and kind judges and a big platform, this show is a dream come true for aspiring singers. The Auditions have now been completed, and as we move on to the next part of the show, we’ll be seeing some of the most fierce performances the stage has ever seen.
The Voice was first brought into existence by John de Mol, who was the brains behind the show. His idea was widely sought after by streaming giants like BBC and ITV and a few others. BBC ended up winning the show and hosted it on their platform until 2015. Once the rights had expired, ITV quickly jumped in and ended up gaining the rights to the show. The Voice franchise now streams on ITV.
Season 11 was announced to air starting on September 3rd, 2022. It will have the same coaches as the previous season, with Will.i.am, Anne Marie, Jones, and Olly Murs. The Winner in the previous season ended up being Craig Eddie, who was a part of Anne Marie’s team.
The Voice (UK): Quick Summary of the Competition
Many of us by now are aware of how The Voice proceeds, but just in case you didn’t, the show is quite simple and needs talent and hard work to reach the top. It consists of two phases, the Audition phase and the Battle phase.
The Audition phase involves all the coaches being introduced to each contestant, but they won’t be able to see their appearance. Only if they like the singer’s performance they can press the buzzer and have a look at the person on the stage. This would also mean that they want that singer on their team.
If the buzzer is pressed by multiple coaches, the contestant will be allowed to choose the team they would like to be in. In season 11, the coaches are each allowed to have only 10 members in their teams.
Once the teams are complete, the next phase of the competition begins. This starts with each member of the team being made to compete against each other. The coaches teach and guide the team members to the best of their abilities, and if the winner belongs to their team, they’ll become the winning coach of the show.
This phase, along with other rounds like the Steal twist and Knockout stage, won’t be a part of this season. What’s new this time is the Callbacks. This will involve bringing back all the selected singers and making them sing the same song they performed at the audition. The goal is to see if they can stand out even if the song is nothing new.
The Final is then between the two remaining singers from any of the teams. The singer who wins will get a cash prize of £100,000.
