Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 11 release date is what fans are hoping to know more about. Obviously, this week’s episode was super crazy and we expect nothing less from them. Just like the entire Smith family, even the audience was really happy that Rick decided to be 22 percent more likable to Morty. But turns out he was not Rick after all.
This was the Christmas special episode which started with Rick being a sweet Santa and giving everyone exactly what they want for Christmas. He also got Morty a real lightsaber because that is what he would have wanted. I mean, the whole thing seemed a little off because we are not at all accustomed to a nice Rick.
Well, trouble started when he and Morty started playing with the lightsaber in the garage and Morty dropped it into the ground vertically. They then try to go down the basements and reach it before the roof can be torn up with the saber. As the duo tries to wait for it on the minus 15th floor which is shockingly a sushi restaurant, Morty grows tired and decides to go to the 10th one. Rick tries to stop him but Morty is in a hurry.
Is Rick A 22 Percent More Likeable Robot?
Turns out that the minus-tenth floor is the one where the real Rick has been hiding all along in order to find his arch nemesis, Prime Rick, the one who killed his wife, the woman he loved. Rick which has been living with the Smith family is a robot that is designed by the real Rick to be 22 percent agreeable. Well, while the duo is bickering about everything, they totally forget about the whole lightsaber dropping.
This Rick replaced the real Rick when Morty agreed to become the knight of the sun in the previous episode. It was when the teenager called him a boring guy which truly hurt his emotions to a huge extent and decided to leave Morty out to explore his own fate while he regains control over his own life. But well, look at where it has landed him.
Rick and Morty Season 6 Episode 10 Recap
As for the lightsaber, it becomes a more pressing issue because the government gets involved and the President decides to take over the mission. Ultimately, Rick leaves after fixing the drill device because he and Morty have a fallout and he warns him about the President too. Later, when the lightsaber is retracted, turns out that the President was himself a huge fan of the lightsaber and thus wanted it for himself. While playing around with it, he drops it inside the ground again vertically.
Now, Morty takes matters into his own hands with the robotic Rick whose body is dismantled because Summer, Space Beth, and Beth got to know about his truth and let their anger out on him. Nevertheless, Morty and he rescue the lightsaber and go to space where the President has taken the White House because he was afraid the Earth will be destroyed soon. They fight with him and he loses and the three of them ultimately come back to Earth as the real Rick portals them.
The robotic Rick dies but knocks some sense into the real Rick. We see him inviting Morty again on his adventures and missions if he wants to help. Morty gladly accepts the offer and goes over to his garage for help.
