Pia and Davis are lovers and fellow filmmakers. When they visit an old town in Scotland, they discover the murderous tale of Iain Adair. Pia seems interested in Adair’s story and decides to make a documentary on the infamous serial killer. The story gets more interesting when the couple meets Davis’s mother-Janet. Here’s what happened next:
During their visit to the shabby town of Scotland, Pia and Davis decide to stay at Janet’s house. She tells them all about the murders, including the death of her husband and Davis’s father- Kenneth. Pia is intrigued by the story and wants to help the town with her documentary.
While returning from Iain Adair’s house, Pia and Davis get into a car accident, which leaves Davis injured and in the hospital. Pia stays the night at Davis’s mother’s house, where she discovers the truth behind the murders. An old video recording reveals that Janet is a murderer who worked with Iain and Kenneth.
As Pia and Janet have dinner together, she tricks Janet and runs out of the house. Janet knows Pia has discovered the truth, and she follows Pia and runs behind her. While running through the rocky terrain, Pia stumbles and drowns in the river. Janet continues to search for Pia.
