Star Trek: Prodigy Episode 19 release date is quite soon. The series throws light on an animated drama show which is obviously set within the Star Trek universe. The show serves as the 10th series to be made within the genre. The plot starts in 2383 in the future. It is five years after the events which have taken place in Star Trek: Voyager. We see that the USS Voyager has now come back to Earth. The focus is laid on young aliens who happen to come across a Starfleet all abandoned called the USS Protostar.
Well, before we get going with everything that is in store for us with the series, let us discuss what has just happened with the 18th episode. Back in Star Trek: Prodigy Episode 18, we saw that the crew which once started their adventure inside the USS Protostar has obviously seen some highs and lows, but there are still a lot of pitstops for them to overcome. The show is almost near its end, and the crew obviously has a lot to uncover before it all goes down. We saw that the ship was now heading over to Federation Space. This command was given by the Construct, who has control over the vessel now.
Turns out that Dauntless is not leaving their sight and is actually right behind them. Dal comes in really handy at this time when he uses the telepathic DNA in order to create a warning for Admiral Janeway. He is desperately trying to make everyone aware of the Construct and the amounts of power that it possesses. Well, the telepathic connections actually go too far, and as a result, Janeway and Dal actually swap their bodies.

Now, here lies the twist. Both sides were made aware of each other’s situation at the same time. Janeway, in Dal’s body, experiences the fact that USS Protostar was actually acquired, and now the crew is made to join the Starfleet. After this heartfelt discovery, she fixed the hologram connectivity and promised that she should make everything right for them soon. As for Dal, who is now in Janeway’s body, he tries to pull off the whole admiral act, but his acting is not so top-notch, and thus, the workers start being suspicious of him.
In Janeway’s body, he tells the crew of Protostar that Dal will be unable to join the crew. He provides a reason for saying Augments are outlawed. With swapping the bodies for too long, it is no trouble. In order to get back to their original forms, Zero tells them to touch hands outside of the ship.
Janeway/Dal and Zero go over to Dal/Janeway the whole solution, but it turns out that he needs to stick inside as per the orders of the Dauntless crew. Later in the episode, we see that The Diviner decides to release Dal/Janeway after he sees the kindness in him. Although, The Diviner is pretty sure that his true intentions are to destroy the entire Starfleet. By the end, we see that Janeway and Dal try to swap their bodies back outside of the ship, but the Dauntless crew gets hold of her and starts pulling her back with their tractor beam.
