Are you excited about Baek XX Chapter 18? After an intense action-filled chapter, the stage is set for the new chapter release. After the death of Dogyeong, the Taesan group has constantly been facing new challenges from other organizations as they try to claim Taesan for themselves. The most notorious among them all is Chief Jang, who is also the person responsible for Dogyeong’s death and is naturally Yisu’s main target.
Baek XX Chapter 17 had many intense moments but also answered many fans’ questions. It is now confirmed that the “rat” in the general assembly is none other than Ryu Taehyong, Boss of Georang, as predicted by Yisu in the 5th chapter. Chief Jang is also working alongside this rat and is still trying to take down Yisu. Now that Yisu has taken the reins of Taesan by becoming Dogyeong, he will take revenge on all these people responsible for his brother’s death!
Baek XX Chapter 17: Recap
In the previous chapters, we saw Yisu having a mental breakdown after he realized he would never be able to be like his big brother Dogyeong, but Ha reassured him that he would train him to be just like his brother, the symbol of Taesan. The biker they beat up a few moments ago gets back on his feet, which makes them wonder who he is for being so durable. The biker gets angry at them for breaking his headlight. Yisu also gets surprised as he thought the biker was from the US army, but he is somehow speaking Korean.
Ha prepares to attack the biker deciding to go full force, but the biker gets a notification to retreat, and so he leaves the area while threatening Ha and Yisu. Meanwhile, back at the Taesan building, Choi Cheonho and Gudo of Ilhak are going toe to toe against each other in a bloody battle while all the underlings watch them from the sidelines as they are all aware that they’d get obliterated if they tried to interfere in this fight.
Cheonho also realizes that his opponent is strong, and so he can’t let his guard down, even for a moment. He increases his momentum to land as many punches as possible to try and take down the Gudo Of Ilhak as soon as possible, but somehow, he keeps getting back up. He manages to catch Cheonho off guard and quickly lands a fatal blow making his arms bleed, Cheonho barely manages to save his vital spots, and so he knows he can’t underestimate this opponent.
Cheonho and Gudo of Hilhak go at it again and keep hitting each other continuously while refusing to go down until the Ilhak members get orders to fall back. The Gudo of Ilhak gets pissed off at this decision and lashes out in frustration, but seeing that he has no other options, he goes along with it. All the fighting has come to an end as Chief Jang has asked his subordinates to retreat as per Taehyeong’s orders as he wants to end this fight the “gangster way”.
After some time, Cheongho, Jinwoong, Shion, and the others regroup at the Taesan building and wait for further orders from Yisu. Yisu arrives at the area and announces to everyone to discuss things the “gangster way” from now on. Meanwhile, Cheongho has decided to leave the Taesan, which worries Jinwoong as he asks his brother to stay for a little longer to help Dogyeong, but Cheongho replies that he wants to help Ilhak rise to the top once again so he will return home now.
Little does Cheongho know that his home, Ilhak Capital, has been attacked by the Georang organization and the Gudo has been completely obliterated on the orders of Taehyong.
