Black Clover Chapter 358 is titled “Cremation” and the chapter begins with the fight in the Clover kingdom. The main focus of the fight in this chapter is the reived Magic Scholar turned Paladin “Morris” and the head of the Crimson Knights Mereoleona. As we had seen in the previous chapter, Morris’ tentacles are able to decay everything it touches.
Mereoleona continues to fight with the Paladin and with a new hand she had created with her mana much like her brother. We see that she charges with her flaming hand and touches the tentacles which are easily able to stop them and even destroy them.
Morris notes how very interesting it is that Meoreleona’s mana alone is able to do that and he has never a body of a human so close to magic. He continues saying that while her Mana is something amazing, the new spell that Morris is using has much more energy than her Mana, and even though they are being destroyed, they will regenerate faster than her Mana’s hand.
The members of the Crimson Knights note that Mereoleona’s burning magic is the one that could fight Morris however if this keeps up, she will lose her magic and soon her body will give out. Even though Mereoleona is aware of the situation, she keeps on pressing Morris and asks the other magic knights to Punch him.

As the fight continues, we see Fuegoleon using his dragon to keep the flying angel-like paladins out of the battle in the air. The members of the Crimson Knights feel ashamed that even though they are members of a high-class group they are unable to do anything.
Meanwhile, Mereoloena continues to burn Morris’ tentacles until her magic burns out. The latter sees that it is over and goes to touch the former, however, the members of the Crimson Knights come in and stop the tentacle from sacrificing themselves.
As they fade away, Mereoleona punches the decaying bodies which affects Morris’ tentacles. Seeing this being very effective, the other members also jump into the shield of Mereroleona and connect her attacks through their own bodies.
Morris is enjoying saying that it is futile how many bodies they threw at him however, Fuegolen notes that even though Morris is using such an insane power he should also have limits and thus will run out soon and his sister knows this.

Mereoleona continues to charge her attack and rejects Morris’ offer on becoming a Paladin saying the Crimson Knight would rather die than become a puppet like him. Her magic continues to grow hotter and Mereoleona unleashes the hottest attack which is called “Calidous Brachium Purgatory: Cremation”.
Her attack approaches Morris while Mereoleona notes that she will make sure that nothing will remain once she has burnt him.
