Sammy Hagar is an American songwriter, singer, and guitarist who had his music era once. In the 70s, he was one metalhead with powerful vocals, and he walked towards success with the band Montrose. After that, this metalhead ruled his career as a successful solo singer.
His first solo hit was “I Can’t Drive 55,” which he sang and released in 1984. Let’s just get more into his life, like where he came from. Sammy never needed a godfather in the music band industry to help him grow there. His parents were Bobby and Gladys Hagar, and they used to work in lettuce fields.
He and his family used to live in a labor camp, and later they moved to Fontana. His father was violent, addicted to alcohol, and was popular in the town for this addiction. Also, people and Hagar used to call him mad or mentally unwell because he was a boxer who held a record of being knocked down not for 1 or 2 but for 20 times in a single match. Hagar and his family had hard times because of the violent behavior of his amazing boxer dad. When Hagar was ten, his mother, along with the kids, left Hagar’s dad, and after that, they started earning a living themselves.

Why Was Sammy Hagar Fired From Van Halen?
In June 1996, Sammy Hagar and the band Van Halen parted ways, and this was because of a few internal issues. One of the issues is said to be the choice of Hagar. The band wanted him to work on two new songs for an already hit album, but Hagar disagreed. It is unclear why the split happened, but Hagar once broke his silence.
He stated that he and his pregnant wife was in Hawaii for a natural delivery, but Eddie, the manager wanted him to fly back to California. Hagar claimed that he even flew, but his wife wasn’t in a condition to travel back to Hawaii or something.
In such a situation and conflict, he was fired from the band, but according to Eddie, Hagrlar left the band on his own. To the fans, it was clear when they discovered that Eddie had hired former lead singer David, and when he left the band, a new singer was hired instead of Sammy Hagar.

When Sammy Hagar and his mother left Bobby, they started doing minor jobs to keep on moving. Hagar was studying hard, too, and when he made it to high school, he discovered his interest in music.
