Viewers were impressed as the sequel series is diving more into Tyler’s personal life as it was revealed that Aisha Tyler’s character, Dr. Tara Lewis, is dating Rebecca Wilson (played by Nicole Pacent), who is an employee at the Department of Justice.
While talking about her character’s romantic arc in the story, Tyler explained that earlier, Tara has really been married to her work for quite a bit of time, and it has been surprising for her to fall for someone again. The actress admitted that she thinks so much about Tara’s pansexuality but pointed out that it is about falling in love with the person.
While talking about Tara Lewis’ sexuality, the actress explained how she has a few close friends, along with her sister, who is gay, and she really wanted to honor that storyline and bring a relationship that would feel loving and real.

The popular actress and former host used to be a part of The Talk as well. 2011, Tyler officially joined the cast of The Talk as a permanent co-host, filling the spot once occupied by actor Holly Robinson Peete However, she had the exit the show in 2017 as her busy and conflicting schedules were speculated to be the reason behind her departure.
The former host stated while confirming her exit as Tyler explained how the industry is really starting to give women bigger opportunities to direct and how she realized that has to let something go while this being the hardest decision of her life while calling her co-stars family. With a heavy heart, the actress bid goodbye to the talk show.
Later, Tyler herself addressed her exit in an interview with Larry King back in 2017, and she admitted that she just had to decide where she wanted her life to go and what she had to give up to get there. She further added that the rigors of making a daytime show day in and day out for 11 months a year was just too much for her.
