Lauren Holly left NCIS because she was bored. Wait, what? Yes! It would be wrong if one judges her because of that. She is an incredible actress and we have seen her performances too, be it in NCIS or some other films. Also, every actor gets the freedom to perform on his or her will. Concerning this, Lauren opened up about how badly she wanted to move on to some other projects. On this note, she said, “To be honest, now that the work bug had bitten me again, I got bored with my part as the Director.”
Also, Lauren Holly’s character, Jenny Shepard was written off from the show. It was pre-decided. So, it was good for both of them- Lauren and the show writers. Win-win situation! When the actress opened up about not feeling good to play more, the creators didn’t think much and acknowledged it.
