To make Shinomiya feel guilty for not having her parents praise her, #15 plays with her mind. Even the strongest present generation cannot stand up to the powers of the eminent class monsters, causing Kurusu to get frightened. Keiji Itami finds something strange with the precision with which the monster attacked the most sensitive memories of Shinomiya.

About Monster #8 Manga
Some very gnarly-looking Godzilla-like monsters are plaguing Japan called “kaiju”. They have been appearing in Japan for a long time. The Japanese Taskforce or Defence Corps was formed to combat these monsters, which threaten humanity’s existence. For the sake of protecting the average citizen, these Kaiju risk their lives every day.
To clean up the remains of the creature, a ‘sweeper’ is called as soon as it is killed. A professional Kaiju Cleaning corporation hires these sweepers. It all goes south for him from here on. After an interaction with the junior sweeper, Kafka encounters a parasitic kaiju that forces its way into his mouth and transforms him into a humanoid creature. Kafka wants to make his lifelong dream a reality now that he has gained new powers and abilities.
