Dandadan is a Supernatural thriller with action and romantic elements, which has garnered a lot of attention due to its amazing storyline. The story is about a young girl named Momo Ayase, whose Grandma is a spirit medium. She comes across a boy named Ken Takakura, and they end up challenging each other to a contest, proving whether spirits or aliens are real.
Momo believed in spirits due to her grandma, and Ken believed in aliens due to wanting to make friends, but neither of them had actually seen anything before. To their surprise, Ken encounters a ghost grandma who curses him while Momo gets abducted by aliens. From this point on, their life undergoes a complete change. Momo unlocks her spirit powers while fighting the aliens, and Ken is able to fight by utilizing the power of the granny’s curse.
Now their mission is to take down the granny and lift the curse off of Ken Takakura. During the encounter, Momo slowly starts to develop feelings for Ken, who is a nerdy type of guy, the complete opposite of the actor Ken Takakura she likes. For that reason, she forbids him from using his real name anymore and instead names him Okarun.
The last chapter of the series ended on an interesting point as Momo was determined to fulfill Rokuro’s last wish and was ready to eliminate all the aliens in front of her. She warns Vamola to stay back as she feels so full of power right now that she is not sure if she will be able to control it. Dandadan Chapter 107: Recap
As Momo is desperately trying to save Vamola, Rokuro mentions that he is almost at his limit and won’t be able to keep up the barrier for long. He says they have got no time to waste on her and, therefore, stabs her neck with some kind of needle. Momo freaks out at this and thinks that Rokuro has killed Vamola, but the next moment, Vamola coughs and starts getting up.
Rokuro mentions that he was saving it for when Momo would get fatally wounded, but he ended up using it now since they had no choice. As his final wish, Rokuro asks Momo to erase all the data the aliens in front had stolen from them by destroying completely destroying their suits. As soon as he passes away, the alien breaks through the barrier and kicks Momo away, grabbing Vamola by her neck. It mentions that they had been able to find a new planet with life forms with ease thanks to Vamola and that replacing the head of its suit with Vamola’s head will bring them good luck.
Momo immediately comes into action and throws the alien away. She apologizes to Vamola for being awful to her when she had been trying so hard all by herself. She says she hated all Serpoins, but not Rokuro, and will fulfill his dying wish.
