007 First Light has generated an estimated $320.1 million in premium revenue, according to Alinea Analytics‘ latest estimates covering PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. The figure places IO Interactive’s James Bond game among the biggest premium releases of 2026, putting it ahead of NBA 2K27, College Football 27 and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced in Alinea’s ranking.

The estimated revenue comes alongside strong official sales figures from IO Interactive. The developer announced in August that 007 First Light had sold 4 million copies within its first three months, making it one of the fastest-selling games of 2026.

The game’s performance was impressive from its first day. IO Interactive confirmed that 007 First Light sold 1.5 million copies within 24 hours, making it the fastest-selling game in the developer’s history. The milestone was achieved before the planned Nintendo Switch 2 version was released, giving the game another potential audience expansion later in the year.

Earlier Alinea estimates also indicated that PlayStation was the game’s largest platform, accounting for 55.1% of estimated copies sold, followed by Steam at 33.1% and Xbox at 11.8%. Those earlier estimates placed sales at 2.2 million copies, meaning the game’s subsequent growth has been substantial.

007 First Light launched on May 27, 2026, and follows a young James Bond as he enters the MI6 training program. IO Interactive developed and self-published the game in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, creating an original Bond origin story rather than adapting one of the franchise’s films.

The game has also received a positive critical response, holding an 87 Metascore on Metacritic based on 93 critic reviews.
