The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 console is available to order again through UK retailer Smyths Toys for £429.99. The new batch is scheduled for November 5, 2026, and the listing indicates that the console includes a user-replaceable battery. The feature is also stated on Smyths’ official product page.

The listing has offered delivery and store collection options, although availability may change as orders are placed. The November 5 date also coincides with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2.

The battery detail is the most notable difference in the latest listing. Nintendo previously stated that the initial Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 model would not include a user-replaceable battery, while Smyths now advertises the November batch with that feature.

Smyths also lists the Zelda 40th Anniversary Pro Controller with a user-replaceable battery and a November 5 availability date.

However, Nintendo has not independently confirmed that the newly listed console is a revised hardware model. Buyers interested specifically in the replaceable battery should verify the details with the retailer before purchasing.
