While Zendaya has managed to turn heads when she makes her red carpet appearance, fans might be missing the Euphoria star in Met Gala 2022! Zendaya herself confirmed the news as she stated that while disappointing fans here, she will be absent from the event as she will be working. The Gala is all set to take place on May 2. Several A-listers are already excited about their red carpet appearance.
Zendaya further assured fans that she will make up for it by delivering in other ways on some other red carpet! She also stated that she gotta make those movies and due to a busy schedule, she had to let this year’s Met Gala go. Zendaya further said that she will be tennis, which is a reference to her upcoming movie Challengers. The movie revolves around a group of players competing for the Grand Slam.
Zendaya Reveals Her Favourite Met Gala Red Carpet Look!
The actress did not disclose any further details about whether her beau Tom Holland will be making a red carpet appearance at this year’s Met Gala. The actor has been shooting for The Crowded Room in New York City. Fans would have surely loved to see the two together for the event.

While talking about these red carpet appearances, Zendaya explained in an early interview how she approaches red carpet dressing and posing as she thinks about red carpets is all about having their characters and narratives. The Dune star further says how it builds a little story for all the looks and sees it as an extension of her acting career in a weird way. When asked about her favorite Met Gala look, Zendaya chose her 2018 Joan of Arc Met Gala to look like one of her favorites.
The actress also admitted that she practices posing for red carpets beforehand. Zendaya further explained how she occasionally looks at the attire in the mirror and sees what poses would go with the silhouette and thinks a little bit about that. Fans would miss her at this year’s Met Gala as the star always bring something special to her overall look.
