The latest information comes from gaming insiders Shpeshal_Nick and Necrolipe, who claim Nintendo is working on a Zelda-themed Switch 2 inspired by the series’ 40th anniversary rather than a single game.
According to Necrolipe, the accompanying Pro Controller is expected to feature a mostly black design with green accents, gold highlights, and a Triforce emblem positioned between the “+” and “-” buttons. Details about the console itself remain unknown, and it is unclear whether the controller would be sold separately or bundled with the hardware.
Neither insider revealed a release date, but if the leak proves accurate, Nintendo could reveal the hardware later this year to coincide with the anniversary celebrations. As with all unannounced products, these claims should be treated as rumors until officially confirmed.
