Nintendo has revealed a new feature for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, giving players another reason to revisit Hyrule’s memorable encounters. Called the Hall of Fallen Foes, the addition serves as a museum-like collection of defeated monsters, complete with information about each creature and opportunities to challenge powerful bosses again.

The feature appeared in Nintendo’s latest overview trailer for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game. Alongside updated visuals, streamlined controls, Zelda Notes, and enhanced ocarina support, the Hall of Fallen Foes introduces an additional activity for players who want to explore the game beyond its main adventure.

The remake is scheduled to launch on November 5, 2026, bringing the Nintendo 64 classic to Nintendo’s newer hardware with improved presentation and additional features. The newly revealed exhibition also builds on ideas introduced in the Nintendo 3DS version, which included a Boss Challenge mode.

HALL OF FALLEN FOES: LET’S PLAYERS REPLAY ZELDA BOSS BATTLES

The Hall of Fallen Foes displays statues of monsters Link has defeated throughout his journey. Each exhibit includes an information placard offering details about the corresponding enemy, turning the collection into an expanded bestiary for players to explore.

More importantly, powerful enemies such as King Dodongo can be challenged again through boss rematches. Players can revisit these encounters to sharpen their skills and attempt to beat their previous completion times, adding a replayability feature beyond the main campaign.

The feature builds on the Boss Challenge mode from the Nintendo 3DS version of Ocarina of Time. However, the new exhibition combines monster displays with repeatable encounters, giving completionists another activity to pursue after defeating the game’s major enemies.

The presentation highlights the visual overhaul alongside gameplay refinements designed to make the original adventure more accessible on modern hardware. Zelda Notes and enhanced ocarina support are also among the announced features, adding new ways for players to interact with the game.

The Hall of Fallen Foes stands out as an addition for players who enjoy collecting information about enemies and revisiting difficult encounters. Its boss rematches provide a way to practice against familiar opponents while pursuing faster completion times.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. With upgraded visuals, revised controls, and the Hall of Fallen Foes, the remake combines the original adventure with additional features designed to encourage exploration and replayability.
