EA Sports FC 27 has quickly established itself as the biggest premium game of 2026 by revenue, overtaking Resident Evil Requiem to claim the top spot. According to estimates from Alinea Analytics, the football simulation has generated $714.1 million from approximately 7.9 million copies sold across PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. The estimate does not include Nintendo platforms or sales through the EA App.
The latest figures put FC 27 ahead of the other major premium releases tracked by Alinea Analytics, including Resident Evil Requiem at an estimated $558 million and Forza Horizon 6 at $534.3 million. Alinea’s data also shows that PlayStation is the game’s dominant platform, accounting for 77.1% of copies sold, compared with 15.9% for Xbox and 7% for Steam.
PlayStation Drives FC 27’s Record Revenue
FC 27’s performance is particularly strong on PlayStation, where Alinea estimates that the game generated $573.9 million during its first 19 days, around 22% higher than FC 26 on a launch-aligned basis. Xbox generated $106 million, while Steam contributed $34.2 million.

Alinea also estimates that FC 27’s revenue is 14% higher year over year, despite copies sold remaining roughly flat compared with FC 26. The data suggests that higher spending per player, particularly on PlayStation, has been a major factor behind the game’s revenue growth.
The game’s premium editions may also have contributed to its early performance. EA offered up to seven days of early access with its Ultimate and Ultimate Plus editions, with Ultimate Plus also including additional Premium Passes and up to 10,000 FC Points. The Ultimate Plus Edition was available during an early-bird preorder window from July 23 through August 31.
EA Sports FC 27 launched worldwide on September 25, 2026, introducing the new social football mode The Grounds alongside updates to Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and gameplay.
