Great news for fans of Yumi’s Cells! The hit drama series is set to return with its third season, three years after the conclusion of Season 2. Kim Go Eun, who plays the titular role of Yumi, is reportedly in talks to reprise her role, bringing back her beloved character from the popular webtoon-based series.
According to a production insider, Studio Dragon, the company behind Yumi’s Cells, confirmed that Season 3 is indeed in the works.
They also mentioned that they have offered Kim Go Eun the role of Yumi, and she is currently reviewing the offer.

Kim Go Eun’s agency, BH Entertainment, also commented on the situation, stating that the project is something she has received an offer for and is actively considering.
Season 3 is expected to feature Yumi’s final romantic partner, Sun Rok, a character from the original webtoon that fans have been eagerly anticipating to see on-screen.
This adds even more excitement and anticipation to the upcoming season.
Yumi’s Cells follows the life of Yumi, an ordinary office worker, as seen from the perspective of the various “cells” inside her brain that control her thoughts, feelings, and actions.
After the success of the first two seasons, which enjoyed high viewership ratings and love from fans worldwide, Season 3 promises to be another exciting chapter.
