The last chapter of Yumeochi: Dreaming of Falling For You saw Asakura trying various methods to get into shape after she became obese due to overeating in her dreams. Working out in your dreams sounds absurd, but that’s the plot of this manga, so it works.
After some long and tough routines, Asakura finally got the perfect body, but this came with some downsides, too, as she suffered from sleepiness and weakness. Her weakness caught up to her when she tried to flaunt her body during the pool visit but worry not because Chono would never let anything happen to her!

The chapter opens up with Asakura doing situps as a part of her daily routine to get in shape. She has been eating a lot in her dreams, which caused her to gain weight leading to her summer plans being ruined. Asakura was determined to get in shape, so she worked out hard in her dreams, but sadly she didn’t get any good results.
Asakura thinks that her fitness back in school must be because of all the training she did back then. She wonders how people keep up with dieting and exercising daily when it is so straining. Asakura decides to give the technique she learned from Omura a try. She recalls that it was something called sleep learning.
Sleep learning is a method used by many people, and it involves hearing the things you want to learn while you are sleeping. Asakura plays some exercise videos on her phone and sleeps with earphones on. She starts working out daily from that point onwards, and eventually, a month passes by.
After a month, Asakura becomes slim and fit, which completely changes her appearance even though it did cost her to lose sleep because she is currently severely sleep-deprived. Asakura ignores all the downsides and focuses on her perfect body. She thinks that now she has got this perfect body, she should show it to someone, and everyone knows who that is.
Asakura calls Chono, Tateha, and Omura to tell them about her pool plan. She eventually convinces all of them because it’s summer vacation, after all. Chono arrives first at the pool, but he wonders why Asakura suddenly decided to go to the public pool. He then waits for a while, and Asakura finally arrives after some time.
Asakura flaunts her fit body in a swimsuit and asks Chono how she looks. Chono stares at her for a bit which makes her think that he has fallen for her perfect body, but Chono instead questions her about her eye bags. Asakura gets annoyed because that’s the first thing he notices in her.
Chono apologizes to her by saying that he is just worried, but she tells him that he doesn’t know what it’s like to be a girl. Tateha and Omura also arrive after some time in their swimsuits, and Asakura gets shocked to see how good they look.
After meeting up with everyone, Omura says that she would just sit in the shade and play games while Tateha goes sunbathing. Asakura and Chono get left alone, and they both wonder why they came to the pool if all of them had to stay away. Chono also decides to use the washroom, which makes Asakura even more angry.
Asakura smells some delicious food nearby, but she tries her best to ignore it to not break her diet. After a while, she starts feeling dizzy, she slowly tries to walk, but she collapses into the pool.
As Asakura sinks into the pool, she finds that she doesn’t have the strength to even swim because of her diet. Suddenly Chono dives into the pool and holds Asakura’s hand.
