The story revolves around our protagonist named, Sakamichi Onoda. Being a fan of anime, video games, and more, Sakamichi Onoda joins the anime club so he can have someone to discuss his interests with, but he is crushed after learning that the club has disbanded since there were not enough members. He needed four new members to restart the club.

Ever since Onoda was a child, he used to ride his small but bulky bicycle for fun and daily transit. One day, while he was doing that, a much-respected professional cyclist named Shunsuke Imaizumi noticed him and made fun of him and his bicycle. However, he soon changed his stance when he saw Onoda riding the bicycle uphill with very little effort. Soon after, Onoda met another person, Naruko, who also noticed him for the same reason. Both try to convince Onoda to join the bicycle racing club at their school, and the story follows their dreams and passions.

Sakamichi Onoda: A third-year student at Sohoku high school, Onoda is the main protagonist of the show and an anime lover. His love for anime helped him develop the strength needed for cycling, and after all his achievements, he was made the captain of the club.

Akira Midousuzi: Known by the name “Ace,” Akira has pretty much ruled the club since his first year in it. During his third year, he was the captain of the cycling club and is quite talented. As someone who has an odd personality, he cannot mix well with everyone and is known to go to any lengths to win, that sometimes puts people on edge.

Shunsuke Imaizumi: An all-rounder who has been cycling since middle school, Shunsuke is very smart and capable. He uses various tactics to win the races and is known to be quite hot-headed when angered. He aims to become the number one cyclist in the world.

Shoukichi Naruko: Known as the “speedster of Naniwa,” Shoukichi is highly competitive and does not like to lose. Also, he gets angry when someone makes fun of his height. After his loss to Akira, he became more focused and started practising harder to be an all-rounder.

Yowamushi Pedal Season 5 Episode 11: Recap

The 11th episode of the anime is called “The Skies Above,” and the episode starts where it ended in the previous episode. We were seeing Teshima and Ashikiba fighting tooth and nail to win the race, and it continues. While only one of them could win the race and the other would be disappointed, the episode featured a beautiful scene in which the competitors’ hard work was reflected. It was a happy day for some, while others were not so happy. The episode had some very nicely written lines and heartwarming scenes as well.
