XO, Kitty Season 1 Episode 1 release is what fans are hoping to know more of. The series will serve in the form of a spinoff of the main Netflix movie called To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. The trilogy films focused on the life of Lara Jean and how she fell in love with five boys and wrote letters to them. It was ultimately Kitty who felt sad that her sister was lonely on a Saturday night, decided to play matchmaker, and sent out all the letters, which created some serious chaos in her life.
Although, this time, she is getting her own space to shine. We saw how she fell in love with a guy from South Korea on the family’s visit to the same. It would be really fun to explore the love life of the youngest Covey sisters. She is set on a journey all across the world to find her true love match.
A trailer has been released by Netflix for the show. It all starts with Kitty convincing her dad and stepmom to let her go to Korea to study at a highly competitive school where even her mom once studied at. Her “boyfriend,” to whom she writes letters all the time, Dae, also studies at the academy. With her high school starting with her freshman year, it would be interesting to see how things evolve between her and Dae.

We see that Kitty is very excited to meet with him and be around him. Although, he has already got a girlfriend whom he never told her about. This puts her on a major pedestal because she literally left her family behind for this guy and to be around him. Although, where does it all start?
In the teaser released last month by Netflix, we see that Kitty has prepared a presentation for her folks talking about how her mom went to KISS (Korean International School of Seoul). This was when she was cleaning out some stuff from her grandmother’s attic and found her mom’s belonging and a vintage blazer from the school as well.
Turns out that Dae also goes to the same school. She soon reveals to her parents that she has already applied for the scholarship at KISS and got the same that her mom had. Thus, we will see her now flying over to South Korea to finally start her life. Well, her dad, given the sweetheart he is, allows her the same, seeing Kitty’s enthusiasm. Although he soon realizes that it might not be the best decision ultimately, he is happy about it.

But trauma comes to Kitty (and me as well) when Dae already has a beautiful girlfriend at KISS. Soon, as her life is in chaos, and feeling like she does not belong, is what makes Kitty want to go home. Although, we will see her not giving up on love and career and, thus, decides to have her own adventure in a new culture and country and find her roots.
Also, I’m not even ready to see Kitty grow up and be with boys. I am literally Lara Jean in this matter, and I love her character like my own sister. But yes, Kitty needs some real-life experiences, and Seoul is a perfect place for the same.
