This Saturday, Logan Paul will make his comeback to the ring when he competes against Dillon Danis in the co-main event of the Judgment Day boxing pay-per-view.
It’s important to note that the “Judgment Day” boxing match has nothing to do with the WWE group of the same name. The conclusion of this event, however, opens the door for Paul to perhaps make a comeback to WWE.
Although he is now focusing on boxing, his long-term ambition is to win several WWE belts, Paul said in expressing his aspirations. He is aiming to take them away from Roman Reigns, who presently has them.
Paul competed against Reigns at Crown Jewel in November of last year in just his second career solo match of professional wrestling.
Paul’s performance in the match was a highlight that attracted a lot of attention. One interesting incident involved Paul performing a frog splash on Reigns directly onto the announce table while holding a cell phone and recording himself.
What’s the proudest moment for Logan Paul?
Paul accomplished something quite amazing by persuading people that Reigns, who is considered one of the most important men in the wrestling industry, could actually be defeated. Regarding that particular match, Reigns said, “That was the performance I’m most proud of throughout my WWE tenure.”
It was only his second singles match and third total match. He was given the opportunity by Triple H and the company’s decision-makers to compete against the organization’s spokesperson while hosting a significant event in Saudi Arabia.
He was eager to show that he could handle the situation even though he couldn’t believe they had such confidence in him.
Paul was questioned if he ever imagined experiencing such incredible success so quickly in his professional wrestling career despite his well-known assurance. He retorted, “The answer is no, absolutely not.” The confrontation he had with Reigns was a turning point in Paul’s developing WWE career.
He started to take a more active role in developing his persona during that match, and it was with Reigns in the ring that he first felt truly accepted in the world of professional wrestling.
He sincerely wanted to establish himself as a wrestler. Therefore, he went above and beyond to prepare for that match, Paul thought afterward. It ended up being a wise choice.
Reigns deserves credit for his role in the 26-minute main event because he successfully established Paul as a serious contender.
It’s important to recognize Paul’s unquestionable talent, though, since he not only competed against Reigns but also put on a performance that was even more outstanding than his later solo fights against Seth Rollins and Ricochet.
Paul lost to Rollins at WrestleMania in April. Paul has made it obvious that he has high hopes for future WWE matches against Reigns and Rollins.
He said that both of them are right at the top of his list of people he is ready to enter the ring with. he will return to the WWE scene after finishing this boxing match and defeating Dillon Danis, prepared to take on them.
