But before moving on, let’s recap the recent episodes. One year has passed since the show began, and the renowned foul-mouthed, insane, and inebriated group has vanished. Kang Buk Goo (or Choi Siwon), lost without his primary writer, searches every nook and cranny of Korea for them.
He eventually reaches a remote mountain by following the scant crumbs they left behind. The show goes back a year to describe how they got here when our heroines are startled to discover Buk-goo encroaching on their refuge. Han Ji-Yeon and Han Sun-Hwa leave their house the day before their chemotherapy begins to go on an impromptu trip.
She practices yoga in the water, hunts for rare wildflowers in the highlands, and spends the night sipping makgeolli or rice wine. Her closest pals, Ahn So Hee or Lee Sun-bin, and Kang Ji Goo, aka Jung Eun-Ji, are concerned about her abrupt departure and are trying to find her using her posts on social media.
When Ji-Yeon is discovered, she starts babbling on about wanting to enjoy her life to the fullest before chemotherapy robs her of just about everything, but rather to her astonishment, her friends reprimand her for having such narrow perspectives.

Work Later, Drink Now S2 Episode 2 Recap
After suggesting it, the trio agrees to spend a week doing anything Ji-Yeon likes, so they drink, party, and go flying as often as Ji-Yeon pleases. The three pals return to the clinic after a hectic week of fun, expecting to be reprimanded for their irresponsible actions, but the doctor looks at them with shock.
It is a miracle that Ji-breast Yeon’s tumor has not yet lessened in size. After learning the news, the friends decide to treat Ji-Yeon differently and venture into the unknown. The three of them find the ideal location in the woods to construct their new home using their combined weird skills and some “training” in the arcade.
Though their mission appeared to be insurmountable at first, they prevailed by relying on one another for support, and eventually, living in the woods became bearable. Unfortunately, Ji Yeon’s disease has not subsided since the previous examination, and uncertainty has begun to set in for So Hee and Ji Goo.
They question whether they made the correct decision, while Ji-Yeon doesn’t seem to have any regrets. They continue to live without electricity and encounter a variety of incidents, including a spirit, a pig, and a Buk incursion, which she handles with humor because she has complete faith in her friends.
Winter presents them with their greatest obstacle, and when Ji-Yeon becomes ill, the pals are at a loss for what to do. To help her friend, Ji-goo confronts the ghost issue as So-hee searches for herbs in the ice. A horrible CGI hog that So-hee encounters while exploring a cave aids her in finding wild ginger, and then after giving it to Ji-Yeon, the following day, she feels better.
They visit the clinic after enduring the difficult winter, and this time the physician has excellent news to share with them. The prognosis improves over time; finally, Ji-Yeon only needs to return once a year. When the pals were discharged from the hospital, they had a party, and 26 months later, they visited their old rendezvous.
They have their first beverage in a long time, and Ji-Yeon greets her pals while laughing despite her tears. In the epilogue, Goo asks each of the three buddies separately what aspect of life in the forest was the hardest. Ji-goo responds that everything was challenging because her friend was ill; So-hee claims that the start was the hardest, and Ji-Yeon asked him what the topic was after pausing to think about anything significant.
