In 2020, he set up a radio station for houseplants. This raised a lot of eyebrows as he was considered retired. His radio network has a dedicated section of music for plants, another one has healing frequencies, and a third one has soothing songs of dogs and cats. He said that Kiwis can rest easily. In September 2023, he was spotted in a Somerset café in the UK, where he was seen serving customers. It was believed that he was back in the UK because Alice, his daughter, was having a baby.
