Seems like Judge Jenkins’ case has been dismissed. Faith Jenkins Lattimore, popularly known for her appearance on shows like “Judge Faith” and “Divorce court,” is a Louisiana-born Political Science graduate. She had recently announced that she wouldn’t be continuing as a Judge in the most watched Daytime court show, “Divorce Court.”
Judge Faith was the third different Judge on this longest-running court series. Divorce court was aired for the first time in 1957, But the version as we know it now came to be in 1999. The first judge was Mablean Ephriam, Whose contract ended in 2006.
Lynn Toler was Judge Mablean’s Successor. She played the Judge from 2006 to 2020 for almost 14 years. By the end of 2020, Lynn Toler had decided to leave the show without renegotiating as the Image she had for the show was much different than that of the producers from Fox Studios. She had no bitter feelings and just chose to follow another path.
The newer Studio for the show was nothing like a courtroom at all. It was Modern and featured screens that would display top fans of the show to act as an audience. When Judge Faith joined the show, she was ecstatic and honored to succeed iconic judges like Lynn Toler and Mablean Ephriam.
Lynn Toler had expressed great expectations from Judge Faith in handling and resolving conflicts between the couples. The Judge has to be wise and direct, to talk sense into people through legal advice. as Jenkins already had a lot of experience, she was a good fit for the show. No one would’ve expected her to leave after 2 years.
Judge Faith: The Story behind the Courtrooms
Faith Jenkins, 44, is an American attorney. Her first Legal job was as a litigator.
It was not until 2014 that she had her show. On September 22, 2014, the first episode of Judge Faith premiered with Faith Jenkins as the main Judge and Scott Taylor as the narrator. The show, however, ran for only 4 years, after which Faith Jenkins was invited to work as a judge on Divorce Court.
Being in Divorce Court had been Faith’s dream, and to be the Judge was an opportunity she couldn’t miss. The show now had a much kinder and more sophisticated judge who dealt with the divorcing couples wisely and realistically. Judge Faith’s way of providing suitable advice was refreshing and knowledgeable.
Faith Jenkins married Kenny Lattimore in March 2020, just before the quarantine was imposed.

Why Did Judge Faith Jenkins Decide to Leave?
Though Judge Faith loved being a part of the show, she had to say goodbye to it after just 2 years in 2022. It could be that her contract had ended, or she didn’t want to continue doing the same show. We know that Jenkins’s decision to leave the show was not on bad terms.
She may return to this genre after a while, but she does advise on lives, Talk shows, Podcasts, and interviews. She has also been the Judge for a few high-profile cases.
Most of the fans speculate that her newer projects could be why Faith has come out with a New book titled “Sis, Don’t Settle.” She also tweeted a post confirming her role as a producer in the Upcoming Show “Killer Relationship.” With her marriage and many projects at once, she decided to shift her focus. Faith Jenkins had also recently announced that she was expecting, which could have contributed to her decision.

After Judge Faith, The Lincolnwood Production Show will feature The former ABC host, Star Jones, for the New Season of Divorce Court that premiered in September 2022. Judge Jones had also previously been involved in a similar show in the 1990s, “Jones & Jury.” This will be her return to the genre after a long gap.
